Registration is now open for History Fest 2020, co-produced by the Minnesota Historical Society and the MN Council for History Education, of which I'm a board member. Click here to join the fun.
This year's History Fest will be entirely online and all are welcome. Sessions are aimed at K-14 teachers. If you work with pre-service teachers please consider passing this opportunity on to them.
This year we will have discussion rooms to share resources and discuss anti-racism and distance learning. In addition there will be three set of breakout sessions. The various sessions will address elementary, middle school, and high school topics and pedagogy. I will be leading a session on globalizing framing and discussion of an Age of Revolutions in World and US History classes.
